Welcome to the House of Fun

Life at home is pretty peaceful. Just me, my parents and one of my two brothers. I come and go as I choose, there's food in the fridge and, stopping short of asking my mum to do my washing, I'm pretty well looked after.

That is, until the arrival of... the girls *DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN*

My family is by no means dysfunctional but the family home may well be pushed to the limit in the next six weeks as we grow from four to eight and host my eldest brother's family while their new house is being readied. With the move done and dusted over the weekend, not only is the morning rush for the shower now more competitive than getting on an NHS dental register, but a noise curfew is in place from 7pm and uncle duties have become inescapable.

However, that's just a small price to pay to have my nieces, Georgie and Fifi, to stay. While Davina McCall hasn't set up shop in our driveway yet, I'm hoping to be able to bring you the best of the tales from our own personal Big Brother experience in the coming weeks. I just hope I don't break my neck on a stair gate first.
